General Rules for Vehicle Preparation & Racing.
Chassis
All chassis must have beveled pans to protect track surface from gouging.
A: Must be a 90- degree inline configuration.
B: Chassis may be constructed using any material
C: Cars will have a minimum of .055 ground clearance.
D: Chassis cannot be visible or protrude past the body perimeter, when viewed
from above or through the driver's compartment. Visible chassis parts must be
painted black or darkened as not to show.
E: Either Oillite or ball bearings are legal for axles.
Tires
A: All four tires must touch and roll on the track.
B: All tires will have black sidewalls.
C: No tire will have less than ¾" diameter
D: When viewed from above tires may not extend beyond the widest part of the
wheel opening, when the chassis is at its center point.
E: Front wheels must not be partially hidden by the front or rear edges of the
stock or slightly modified (when allowed) Front wheel well. (This does not include
the Top of the wheel well).
Bodies
A: Guide flags must not extend past the foremost part of the body when viewed
from above.
B: All cars will have a painted detailed driver to scale. interior cockpit tray
must conceal the whole chassis.
C: All cars will be painted and numbered in at least three places. Lettering
should be no smaller than ½" tall.
D: All bodies will begin races intact with no missing parts. i.e: {Stock} wings,
bumpers, windows (Only front and rear are required) grills, quarter panels,
spoilers and fenders.
E: At no time are replacement windows or windshields other than " stock
from the box" legal, unless otherwise specified in the Special Requirements
section {No Lexan}
F: Bodies cannot be heated, stretched or excessively bent to accommodate the
chassis.
G: No altering or removal of material is allowed on all bodies unless otherwise
specified in the Modifications section of the class structure.
Motors {Sealed}
A: Super 16D {Parma sealed #?}, T-10 {Parma sealed #478}, Death star 16D {Parma
sealed #501} are approved for use in those classes that require a factory seal.
B: Motor brushes and springs can be adjusted or replaced
C: No shunted brushes allowed.
Motors {Open}
A: Only super 16D set-ups
B: Super 16D arms.
C: D cans only.
D: No rewinds or de-winds allowed.
E: Magnets must remain in the stock position {no shimming}
F: Replacement magnets allowed {no cobalt magnets}
G: Oillite bushings and ball bearings are allowed. (both ends of armature)
H: Individual or factory blueprinting allowed.
I: No shunted brushes allowed.

General "Racing" Rules
Tires
A: No tire changes will be allowed until the completion of the first heat.
B: After tires have been changed the car must be re teched for .055" ground
clearance.
Body Parts
A: Body parts {Bumpers, windows, Hoods, Etc.} dislodged during a race must be
re attached during the next pit stop.

Porsche 962
Rules for the 962 class: Follow the OSCAR rules for NASCAR except for the following:
Bodies: Porsche 962 by Tamiya only. Bodies to remain stock out of the box, no
modifications.
No cutting of the body for guide flag clearence.
Front track max. is 3.250".
Rear track max. is 3.310".
Register your decals with Bad Bob.
Enduro cars will have two working headlights and two working tailights at the
begining of the race and at least one working headlight and tailight throughout
the race.
Those are the only lights that are allowed and absolutely no reflective material
on body is allowed.
EarlyTrans Am
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years:1964 thru 1974
Motors: Parma sealed S16d part #502
Bodies- Bodies may be trimmed for height but entire car must be 1.75 '' above track at minimum. Bodies may not be flared to add extra width unless flares were part of the kit. For any kit in this class, it is incumbent upon driver to authenticate Trans Am participation upon request from tech officer.
All Oscar general rules apply.
Late Model Nascar
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years 1980 to current
Bodies: Replica of an American made NASCAR sedan.
Driver: Vacuformed or resin cast
Body height:1/24th bodies shall not be less than 1 7/8 tall, measured from ½ behind the windshield at the center of the roof line to the bottom of the chassis (air dams excluded) 1/25th excluded from this rule but must not be lowered at all.
Modifications: Bodies can be trimmed to remove part of the front spoiler and side air dams (to stock valance height) for proper track clearance.
Motors: Super 16D (Open)
Super Stockers
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years: 1958 to 1979
Bodies: Replica of an American made sedan.
Driver: Vacuformed or resin cast.
Body height: Configuration and roofline must be production (Kit) stock
Modifications: Trimming of the lower valance panel is allowed for proper guide flag clearance. Rear wheel wells may be raiused to fit rear tires.
Motors: Super 16D (Open)
Early Model Nascar
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years: 1949 to 1957
Bodies: Replica of an American made sedan or coupe.
Driver: Vacuformed or resin cast
Body height: Configuration and roofline must be production (Kit) stock
Modifications: Rear wheel wells may be (radiused) to match the shape and height of the (stock) front wheel wells.
Motors: Parma (Sealed) t-10 Parma sealed Deathstar, Parma Sealed Super 16d #502
Production Sports Cars
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years: Open
Bodies: Any Production Sports Car Body that does not exceed 3.25" in width measured at the center of the wheel well radius
Driver: Roadsters will use a resin cast or injection molded driver with (Head, Shoulders, Steering wheel). Coups & Hardtops may use a vacuformed cockpit tray as well as an injection molded or resin cast figure. A roll bar is also required or a headrest substitute.
Body Height: Configuration and roofline must be production (Kit) stock.
Modifications: The only modifications allowed are to trim the front apron for guide flag clearance. At least 1/16" must be left in place at the bottom of the air intakes.
Motors: Parma Sealed Super 16D, Parma sealed T10, Parma sealed Deathstar.
Clubman
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years: Open
Bodies: Any production sports car that does not exceed 2 15/16" in width when measured at the center of the wheel well radius.
Tire track: The rear tires of the car cannot exceed 2 7/8"
Driver: Roadsters will use a resin cast or injection molded driver with (Head, Shoulders, Steering wheel). Coups & Hardtops may use a vacuformed cockpit tray as well as an injection molded or resin cast figure. A roll bar is also required or a headrest substitute.
Body height: Configuration and roofline must remain production (Kit) stock.

Jalopy
Scale: 1/24, 1/25
Years: 1932 to 1948
Bodies: Replica of a stock American made sedan. No Custom chopped cars or Drag cars. Rear Wheel wells may be opened to accomodate wheels.Convertibles must have top in full up position.
Driver: Injection molded or Resin cast. The Drivers chin may not be lower than the bottom of the side window.
Body height: Configuration and roofline must be production (Kit) stock.
Special Requirements: (1) All Running Boards must be plastic and in stock positions.If the car came with them, they must be attached.(2) Open Hoods are allowed but a fully detailed engine with a Firewall must be installed. (3) Open Cowls must be covered to conceal the chassis. (4) Bumpers and Torpedo lights are optional.
Motors: Parma Sealed Super 16D, Parma Sealed Deathstar.
Econo
Chassis: Rattle chassis. 1/8th inch axles. 48 pitch gears. No ball bearings.
Motor: Parma sealed Deathstar #501
Tires: Front - 7/8th inch min. Dia. By ½ inch min. width. Rear - 1 inch
min. Dia.
Body: Any 1958 to 1972 Mid to Full size American car. No pony cars. Front window
or screen required.
Fender wells can be radiused for tire clearance. Full interior shelf required.
3 numbers with a min. height
of ½ inch.
Tech: Min. .055 inch under chassis. 3.250 inch track width max. front and rear.
Body height from bottom of
chassis to top of car = 1.850 inch min. Body can be added to or trimmed down
to obtain this body height.
